SpeechJam (WIP)

Still work in progress untested and buggy, but you can still try it out for a single round! Keep in mind that the servers that generate the gpt2 response are very small, so they may not always work all the time.

How to Setup

1. The host needs to launch the exe for their operating system, we have only tested the windows version.
2. The host will then provide their ip to their friends it. They would connect to the host via any modern browser like chrome. They would paste the ip in the address bar, it will look like http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:3000 we recommend playing on a local network to avoid any networking trouble shooting!
3. Once everyone joins, the host can begin game

How to Play

This is a game of wits and subterfuge. Can you tell the difference between your friends and the rogue AI Agent?

1. Lobby: Don't forget to set your username! The game will start when everyone is ready or when the Host starts.
2. Chat: Everyone gets the same topic and gets to prepare messages, this is the time to trick your friends by mimicking GPT2.
3. Vote: Use chat log evidence to deduce the bot and convince your friends to vote for you!
4. Reveal: The bot is revealed and points are awarded.
